Do not support this company!!!!! Just like someone else stated here this company is abusive to their employees!! They scream, curse, throw things and treat the girls in a nasty sexual way!!! I dont care how good the food is, I will never give them a dime!!!

Best seafood in upstate. Being from Florida, I love my seafood. I was disappointed when I moved to Greenville in 2005 to find no acceptable seafood restaurants. I had tried the other two Silver Bays, and I wouldn't go back. Then I discovered the Simpsonville Silver Bay. The food here is quite good and plentiful, as well as very reasonably priced. The hush puppies they bring to nibble on are to die for when they are hot. Have eaten here many times, and have to admit, a couple of times the hushpuppies were not hot. Once the baked potato was old and should have been discarded. However, all the other times make this well worth our drive from Greenville. I wish it was closer! Highly recommend! The atmosphere is bright, cheery and clean. The saltwater aquariums with sharks are awesome and interesting to watch.

Great food, fair prices, but.... I've enjoyed eating at their Simpsonville location ever since they opened. But one thing that's bothered me every time I walk in their door was seeing that big TV screen blasting Fox News Channel at you. As much as I hate to do it, I feel I must boycott Silver Bay until they turn that TV off or change it to a more neutral channel. I don't know why businesses feel it necessary to risk alienating their customers by forcing such a partisan, hypocritical, and defamatory "news" channel on their customers. Get rid of Fox News so I feel welcome in your business again!

PS: To Tel864: You are an idiot for presuming I'm a liberal. Far from it. Your comments actually prove you to be the narrow minded one. I lean more towards libertarian views. Fox Noise channel lies every chance they get. They aren't a legitimate news channel because of their extreme bias. I used to watch them but had my fill when they became a shill for the neocons. Feel free to disagree with me, but your assumptions are very far off base.

Warning! Eating here contribues to Abuse!. A few close friends of mine have worked at Silver Bay Seafood in Simpsonville. They have all at some point been screamed at and berated by the owner. He has a habit of hiring teenage girls and then taking advantage of his position of power by belittling, humiliating, and screaming at them. He seems to hire women who are easy prey to his abusive ways, either to young, to poor, or to scared to quit despite how they are treated. I warn you - Eating at Silver Bay Seafood in Simpsonville Supports Abuse. Don't Give Them Your Money!

Great family restaurant. My family eats here often. We've never had a bad experience. The food is always good and always more than plenty. It's our favorite place in Greenville for seafood. Great family restaurant

Nice Waitress. The service here was great. Our waitress was very nice and seemed to enjoy her work. The food was great. This place is often crowded so you may have to wait for a table if you go at the prime hours.

Do Not Eat Here!!. Do not eat here!!! This restaurant messed up my order and when I went back for them to correct it, they were not very courteous in correcting their mistake. When I saw what a poor job they did of correcting my mistake, I requested a refund in which they refused to give my money back so I left the food and the money that I had paid. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, never in my life have I been treated so badly by a food establishment.
