Beef tataki amazing, best yellow tail,scallion roll I have had in greenville. Cucumber roll is awesome, mussels are dank, beer is cheap. I think the people that hate Fcked the page with complaints and whining and bickering. Ive been there like 5 times. I think alot of it was downright lies. The restaurant is perfectly clean. The service is fine they are just busy and if you talk like a field mouse and don't speak up and tell the staff what you need or whats wrong. yea you gonna sit there unhappy and then come home and right a awful review filled with lies and slander. How do you even sleep at night you miserable fcks.
- Pros: Great sush,,habachi,chefs,and atmosphere
- Cons: my favorite chef went to the new location.... thats it.....

My husband and I have been regulars here since they opened the doors. Yes, you may have to wait. No, you don't sit at your table and socialize after you've finished your meail. The cucumber rolls and soy salad dressing are awesome. Mimi's never been rude to us and I've never seen her be rude to anyone.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!

We waited an actual hour before someone came and took our drink order. Then when the waitress finally came, she didn't even have a pen. She had to run off and find one. Then it took another 15 to 20 minutes for the chef to come and cook the food. The owner, Mimi, actually came to the table next to us and picked up someone's plate while they were still from eating from it. He had to holler at her for her to bring it back because she was walking off. She was very rude and not personable at all. A couple at the table with us had ordered an alcoholic drink and they were almost finished eating by the time they got it. The place was completely gross. The floor was dirty all over and then one of the waitresses was vaccuuming around a table where people were eating. If you were going to do that, why not get the whole place. After the vaccuuming, the floor was still dirty. The food tasted was nasty and the place had a nasty smell, especially for a restaurant. By the time we got home, my boyfriend did not feel good at all. It was just a really bad experience and we will never go back to Mimi's again. The only reason we went there in the first place is because we didn't want to wait at Miyabi's but by the time we left Mimi's, we really wished we had. I don't care if another restaurant says the wait is 2 hours, I'd whether go home and make me a bologna sandwich (which I didn't even like) than to go back to Mimi's.
- Pros: We were seated right when we walked in.
- Cons: Too many to count.
