Not worth the money. Went three times because we wanted to give the restaurant a chance and didn't want to stop going over one problem. Realized soon that there were several problems: unkempt appearance of busboys and chefs (clothing stained and wrinkled), owner Mimi moody, and the final straw was that the chef pulled out a male doll container (that was a lemon or water sprayer) and sprayed that on the food. We had small children and mentioned the inappropriateness to Mimi, the owner, but she laughed and said that it was part of the show. The food was OK, but can get the same or better Japanese hibachi style at any of the other ones in town.

Got more than I bargained for.... About half way through the meal I noticed that a piece of my rice had legs...turned out it was not rice! I quietly notified the owner and she reluctantly took my entree off the bill. My two dining companions who were eating the same entrees were expected to pay for their food even though they had both seen the insect. She finally agreed to comp the entire bill, which was only appropriate since none of us ate anyway. One of my co-workers was dining in the restaurant as we left and she told me that after we left, the owner continued to complain loudly about us. She also indicated that she was going to boycott the company I work for. Bottom line? Unprofessional, rude and not customer oriented at all! Save your money and catch your own insects for dinner!

love it everytime. I love Jap. food so I go to Mimi alot. I have never left unhappy! Yes of course at 8oclock on saturday night you don't have some1 there every second of the night, but it is still great service! The staff there is funny and nice, and the food is great! Its a great place to go on a date or with a big group, either way you are gonna have a great time while eating some great food!

Won't go back. I was there with a party of six friends last night (1-21-06). The service was good (actually the appearance of the wait staff and bus boy was rather wrinkled and stained) and the steakhouse food was good, not great. The sushi was excellent.

The problem was after our check came we paid and sat and talked about 15 minutes, BIG mistake on a crowded Saturday night. The owner, (I guess it's Mimi she's the lady who has been there since day one, and I know because I've been a regular since day one.) was getting perturbed as she came by to give us the glad you came but please hurry and leave look. (Unfortunately it went over our heads, I wish she would have just asked us to move then.).

Best place to eat and have fun. This place is the GREATEST. The food is always great but the best part is the show that you get. It doesn't matter what chief that you get they are all wonderful. We have been to many other places like this, but not any more. It is hard to believe that the owner will seat you, clean tables or anything else that may need doing. Oh did I forget to tell you, she remembers her customers by their names. This place is unbelievible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
