Great Color & Cut!. I am new to the area and everyone knows it is hard to find the important people that you will need in your life. A good hair dresser is one of them!

I saw a woman at the post office and got up my nerve to ask her who did her hair. She replied the girls at Avalon.

She actually has been to two of the ladies and loves them both! They are Debbie and Michelle.

I have been to Debbie and I will go again! She performed a miracle on my hair color! In Florida it got very dry!

I wish I knew her name to thank her for telling me about Avalon!

I met several of the other ladies and they are very helpful also. Now..to find a doctor.

People Please!‎‎. I have been going to Deb now for 4 years. Never have I had a bad service! My hair is half way down my back,is permed, colored, and is healthy as can be! I dont know what your problem is! Are you a jealous competitor or a ex-employee trying to do harm? Its sad that the internet can be used in these ways! I will never let anyone else but Deb do my hair ever again! She has clients that have been coming to her for 20 plus years now! As far as the attack on others in the salon, I have been around long enough to know them as well. I also know that you are inventing bad stories to tell. I further more know that you are very un-educated and need some grammer lessons! My advice to others is to make an appointment and enjoy a relaxing experience of having your hair done the way you want it by people who have a multitude of experience!‎

Eight years of perfect service!. In the last 8 years that I have been in Simpsonville and gone to Debbie, never have I ever seen nor heard of Deb messing up a cut!

I guess its true what people say about opinions, and you cant please everybody! lol

Gave me exactly what I DIDN'T want. I went in with a clear idea of what I wanted and with two pictures. Debbie looked at them, listened to me, and said she understood. And then she cut my hair completely differently, into a style which is the absolute worst thing...I HATE it. It looks nothing like what I wanted. It looks nothing like those pictures I showed her. I am going to have to get my hair re-done (by someone else! I don't trust her at all) and it will have to be much shorter than what I originally wanted to fix what she did. All I can figure is that her positive reviews online, which led me to make an appointment with her, were posted by friends and family of hers and not clients.

Best stylist EVER. I went to Debbie to have her corrext a color that I was stupid enough to try at home. I made a total mess out of my hair. I called her crying and she got me in there within the hour! She sat me down took my hat off, and told me that she could fix it without a doubt! I was in shock, as my hair was a mess....I thought I would have to cut it all off! After about 45 minutes my hair was rinsed and it was blown dry. My hair was PERFECT!! It looked so healthy and shiny. I couldn't believe it. Debbie can work magic! Plus, she didn't charge me but $65.00! That is much less than what I have paid in the past! I will be a life long client of hers and will take my entire family to her as well. GREAT JOB!

Best hair stylist anywhere!!!. After reading these reviews, I took the plunge and made an appointment. I went in and told Debbie to do whatever she felt was necessary to make my hair look nice and age appropriate for me. I did however specify that I did not have a lot of styling abilities so to please make it easy for me to maintain. I have always worn my hair long and straight.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO PLEASED IN ALL OF MY LIFE!!! I never knew that it could be so easy to look good every day without a lot of fuss and a lot of time spent on my hair! As a mother of three small children, I just do not have the time to spend on my hair, but with the color and the perfect cut it literally falls into place by itself!!! Thanks City Search!!

The salon is quite relaxing and nice too!!

Most relaxing experience and service I have ever had at a salon!. Don't judge a book by it's cover! This salon is in a brick house that I would say is about 50 years old. There is not a lot that they can do to make it look better on the outside, but I was so surprised when I saw the inside! It is decoratred in a beach theme ( hence the sea grass outside with the light house ) . They have relaxing music playing with ocean waves mixed in with it, and everyone is in a seperate room!

When I left I felt like I had been on vacation!

BTW..... my color and cut looked great too!!! It was matched up perfectly to what I had been getting in Pa. with no problem!

After just moving from out of state, it was refreshing to meet such friendly people!

Best and easiest waxing I have ever had!. I went in this week for a bikini wax.I had never had the nerve to do it before. A friend of mine recommended I give Debbie a try, so I did.

It was a lot easier than I thought possible! I will never deal with all the messy things I have tried in the past for this "problem hair."

As far as your daughter goes, you didn't say how old she is. Maybe she is not old enough to be waxed if she can't sit still long enough to have the wax applied. Much less her skin so sensitive to wax.

Don't wax here!. I took my daughter to Debbie at Avalon Hair Studios for an eyebrow and lip wax. I have never seen such a disaster of a wax job in my life. First, Debbie (who is very personable and funny) had my daughter sitting in a chair instead of laying on a table. The wax was dripping in my daughter's hair, which Debbie had to cut out with a scissor. By the time we left, my daughter still looked like she needed an eyebrow wax, and not only that, but Debbie had actually lifted the skin right off my daughter's face, which now has a red scab on it. Had I known that Debbie had hurt my daughter, I would have left without paying, but my daughter didn't say anything about it until we were in the car.

Great service, great price, and great hair cut and style. I went to Avalon after reading the long review thinking it may have been a little over rated. I was wrong! Everything was exactly as was stated! I asked what hairstyle that Debbie thought I would look the best in and she did it. I told her to do with my hair what she felt would suit me the best, and it did! I have never had my hair look so good or be so easy to style! It naturaly falls into place and cut my styling time down from about an hour to less than fifteen minutes! I actually have less hair now but it looks and behaves like I have more hair!

I asked her how she does it and she said it was experience. I am not ever going to pay another high dollar "show operation" again to mess up my hair! I will stick to experience and someone that cares about their prefession and who truely wants to help people with their hair!

All of the staff there are friendly and helpful, although I did ask for Debbie as all the reviews seem to contain her name.
