What Are They Talking About?
by knoxbury
We love to go here. It's one of our kids favorites with the train and the seasonal decorations. And we have even catered their food several times and everyone who has had it loves it! The staff is helpful, the food is good, the pulled pork is great, the sauce is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. You can safely ignore the other reviews and give it a try. My only "con" is that the ribs aren't as good on the buffet as if you ordered them in a dinner.
And we have tried the one in Greer as well. I would give that one about 3 stars. Not as clean, the train doesn't work, the staff is not as friendly and the food isn't quite as fresh.
- Pros: Great atmosphere, great bbq
- Cons: the ribs aren't always great on the buffet
Looking for Good BBQ - Keep Looking !!!

Okay...so it was a rainy Saturday afternoon and we decided to do BBQ. Instead of driving to Charlies, Bucky's or Little Pigs (Bucky's being our favorite) - we decided to give Mutt's a try.
Our gloomy day...got gloomier. Burnt Hush Puppies, Beans were horrible, Bread was stale and Pork tasted like it came out of a bucket. I will say that the Sweet Potato Crunch was probably the only thing worth mentioning as being any good.
We tried this place the first week it opened...we didn't like it then...and 5 years later...we are sure we will never try it again.
- Pros: Decent Atmosphere - for a BBQ Place
- Cons: Quality of Food & Service (not a single smile)
Dont go to this one, go to the "Mutts" in Greer
by Grababite2eat
All the Mutts are not operated alike nor owned by the same people. The one in Mauldin is the worst of them in my opinion. Do not waste your time there unless you are starving and cant hold it until you drive to the Greer Mutts just off I-85 on hwy 14 or instead of Mutts just drive up the road a little to Henry's or Bucky's BBQ For the money, Henry's or Bucky's offer the best value/taste combination in Greenville but the Mutts in Greer holds its own with them.
