Best salon in Greenville!

This salon is world-class, without a doubt. A visit here is not just about a haircut, rather is an experience I look forward to every six weeks, starting with the personal confirmation of my appointment the day before. Right when I walk in the door, I'm always greeted by name and offered refreshments. I've never had to wait longer than five minutes, which is great.

I personally patronize Dana Mathis. Having spent a few years "stylist shopping," I am so glad that I found her. We've done everything from cut/style to coloring to extensions and I will say without a doubt that she is the total package. Dana knows (and cares!) about both my immediate and ultimate goal for my hair and suggests styles, products and treatments that help me achieve what I want. And because she knows those things, and my likes and dislikes, I can sit down in her chair, say "Do what's going to make me look fabulous," and she will. Every single time. I always feel beautiful when I leave her chair. Dana is skilled, professional and genuinely engaging, and I'm so grateful to have found her.

This is the only salon I recommend in Greenville; you can get a haircut anywhere, but if you're looking for a salon experience, head to 1 Wade Hampton Boulevard. Janet and her bevvy of empowered, highly skilled stylists are going to take great care of you.

BEST SALON in Greenville. PERIOD.

I have been to all the "so called" best hair salons from Clemson-Greenville. I am a Clemson Grad, but I am from Syracuse, NY and I never thought I could find someone who could do my hair as well as the salon I went to in NY. I have very thick, wavy hair that needs to be thinned out or else I just have a big thick mess on my head to deal with!!! I had almost given up hope because every salon I went to was okay, but it was just a boring and blah hair cut that did not WOW me. I moved to Greer and was looking up salons to start my search again for the perfect salon I could call home :) I found Todd Inc. and read the reviews. The reviews made me want to give it a try....what did I have to lose??? I called and made an appointment....at the BEST FREAKING SALON IN GREENVILLE!!!!! Dana is a hair genius!!!! I can not even describe every awesome thing about Todd Inc. because I would run out of characters on this thing :) Here are a few highlights of this amazing place....

1. The salon itself is unique and unlike any other salon I have ever been to (besides the salon I went to in NY) ***That was a sign to me that I had chosen "THE" salon

2. Everyone made me feel comfortable and was super friendly!!!

3. DANA is my hero :) BEST hair cut I have ever had!!!!

4. If you want a salon that is funky, up to date on the latest hair techniques...Todd Inc. is it.

*I am never going anywhere else!!!

*I went to work the next day and every single person noticed my hair immediately and everyone kept saying how much they loooooooooved it!

*I was asked where I got my hair cut, and at least 3 people I know for sure are calling to make an appointment with Dana :)

Go to Todd Inc. if you want an amazing haircut!!! Trust me!!!!

Excellent cut without "hair snob" atmosphere

I moved from the San Francisco area six years ago, and left behind a "hair god" who made me look like a million. Since that time I have been foraging for a good stylist, without any luck. I tried Wilson's on Washington 3-4 years ago, and had a terrible experience with a young man who was either very inexperienced or just unskilled...no excuse for the bland haircut, though. I could have gotten a better cut at Great Clips.

Three women at my husband's work go to Todd's, Inc. and love their stylist. Some of them drive from Spartanburg to get cut and color. Today I went for the first time. My stylist, Amberly, was very relaxed and made me feel comfortable right away. She listened carefully to what I wanted in a cut, even though I was only able to give her some guidelines and not a specific idea. I told her that I am willing to give 5 minutes a day to my hair, and she didn't gasp in dismay, but was willing to work with that. She didn't cut it too short (a chronic problem with stylists) and made the most of my hair.

The owner, Janet, has created a high-end yet comfortable, relaxed place to be. That is an accomplishment indeed. Having gone to my share of hair snobs who want to tell me what I want (or totally ignore what I want and give me the haircut that they think I should have), it was a relief to find high quality and comfort in the same package. If you don't mind tatoos, piercings, and a few skull motifs, then you will love this place. They provide excellence at a competitive price.
