Blackened steak and blue cheese salad for lunch: Steak was way over peppered. just a few pieces of lettuce. just a few crumbles of blue cheese. Then they charged a tip over 20%. For 3 adults and a five year old I paid $50 for lunch. Not a fan. This was my second time back to be price gouged for the quality and service. Never again.
5 Star dining at a value. This place surpassed all of my expectations. Great menu with lots of choices. No corkage fee. I lived in NYC for many years and have indulged in the cuisine of some of the worlds best chefs, and I kid you not, I think this food is on par. All the veggies were fresh, not canned or frozen. The hummus was out of this world, and they actually cook your steak to the desired temperature. My experience with the wait staff was wonderful. In the height of the dinner rush I spilled my soda and the glass broke. Feeling stupid and silly I apologized profusely. Two VERY nice women promptly came over to clean up and were very kind. I would eat here again, and again, and again.
Great Food, Decent Service.
I've eaten at many places in Greenville and the surrounding areas and I have found that Adam's is one of the best places to go for good, quality food. The amount of choices is astounding and I have yet to order anything that is not delicious.
There are a lot of different servers here and some are better than others. I've conversed w/ the owner several times and found her to be very nice. I am not sure what other people are talking about on these reviews.
I think that if you just drive by Adam's you will see how popular it is and the wonderful food is the reason why. Check it out!
Horrible Customer Service. I have been a weekly visitor to Adam's Bistro for over a year and I have introduced many friends and associates to the restaurant. I will never go back and will encourage other's to do the same. Last week while meeting friends for lunch I had a very bad experience with a hostess that I later found out is the owner's mother. After being greeted by this rude lady and told that I could not be seated until my entire party was there, another hostess approached me and offered me a table. I sat there waiting on my friend that was parking her car for approxmiately 3 minutes. The rude hostess/manager approached my table and began to "educate" me on the reason that I should still be waiting and not be seated at a table until my entire party arrived. Her tone and body language were rude and very embarrasing. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner. Never mind the fact that one of her employees sat me at the table. I was startled by her rude behavoir but tried to tell her my friend was parking the car. About this time my friend walked in and she continued to try and "educate" both of us on the proper way to run a restaurant. At this time I had enough and we stood and told her we were leaving. She followed us to the door still continuing to tell us that we did not understand how to run a restaurant. The lack of consideration and blatant rudeness to a customer is unbelievable. I work in the customer service field and always adhere to the old saying that "the customer is always right." Adam's Bistro obviously doesnt practice what they advertise on this site. "Friendly service and a dynamic dining experience" are not on the menu here!
Lost our business forever!. Adams Bistro will never get one penny of our business again after today. We needed a convenient place to meet with a couple of business colleagues over lunch, so we met there. After lunch, the owner came over to our table and basically told us that she would prefer for us NOT to meet there, because we tied up the table and blocked one of her "money slots" (her exact words). I knew that we had probably been at the table for about two typical rounds of customers, so I left the waitress an 80% tip to help cover her time... yes, 80 percent! And I did so even though the waitress never once smiled at us. In all my years of eating in restaurants, I have never encountered anything like this. The woman who runs Adams Bistro needs to take some lessons in customer relations. She was basically telling us that she doesn't care about her customers... just about getting people in and out as fast as possible. Well, don't worry sweetheart, because we will NEVER tie up any of your tables again!!!
Take take your extra strength rolaids.. The owner had no cahonas & his manager(mama) was as personable as a rock! The food was straight out of the freezer to the filthy fryer. Greasy is the only thought that came to me after the rolaids & indigestion dissipated.
