Tips for HeadQuarters Day Spa

Clay Daniels is amazing. He listened to what I wanted gave me a few options and I am so pleased with the cut and color. I can keep my thin hair that likes to be unruly, looking great and still keep the length that I desire. I will continue to see him for a long time.

Before he even touched my hair, stylist Clay Daniel took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted, and presented clear options for transitioning back to my natural white color. We set a timeline of how to best proceed without damaging my hair. I had no idea how I wanted my hair cut, only that I needed someting easy to manage, that worked with my hair's (questionable) texture, and gave him free rein. Clay proceeded to give me an extremely flattering asymetrical bob, with hightlights, that I absolutely love. The cutting looked complicated, but the style is very easy to maintain, and the highlights blend in the growing-out roots. The compliments I get! I can't tell you how many of his cards I've handed out! Not only am I going back, but I'm taking my daughter too.

Great Service and Up to Date Styles. I love it when I have an appointment set up to get color and a cut at Headquarters because it is a treat! I always receive multiple compliments from people after getting my hair done and I always send them towards Headquarters. Susan is always able to tell me the latest and greatest in new styles and about her recent continuing ed classes and what she's learned about new styles. My hair is healthy even after getting color processing. I even have take my daughter to get a manicure. That might have been a mistake since she is now hooked and wants to get her nails done all of the time! She was treated so, so nicely, as I am each time I visit! A great salon and spa for downtown Greenville that is hip and convenient!

This Place is Wonderful!!!. I was greeted at the front desk by Carl who was very friendly and professional. I was guided into the salon for my cut with Haven. I was given a little tour of the hair salon and the spa and grounds. The total salon is designed to be a feast for the sences. My stylest, Haven made me feel comfortable and welcome. My cut made me feel young again and that is a great feeling. Susan the owner greeted me also and welcomed me to the Salon. I will be looking forward to my next appointment with Haven.

This place is a joke. I had an appointment with the owner who boosted a supposesed 30 years of experience but you certainly couldn't tell by her work. My highlights came out and brassy orange color probably because she seemed like she was in such a hurry she didn't let them process long enough she rushed through a hair cut that looked like something I could have gotten at great clips and then just flat ironed and texturized it enough to hide her mistakes but once I got home I could tell how bad it really was. Then she charged me $150 for it! I had to go a few days later to another salon to have it fixed never gonna make that mistake again.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreate. This is a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreate place to go -- very relaxing -- very professional -- if you have a preference of whom you want to see or male or female you need to let the Day Spa know ahead of time. 1) it is a very busy place and 2) the staff maybe scheduled according to their appointments.

All staff I have had appointments are always willing to go the extra mile to make my day. My daughters and I have been going to HeadQuarters for over 4 yearsand highly recommed them!

Gave me a man for my massage and didn't ask...... -I had to cancel a few appts before I was able to actually make it in, and every phone call was awkward and rude and unprofessional....like they just wanted to get off as quickly as possible.

-When I walked in the door, the man and woman behind the counter were chatting and it took them a while to greet me.

-They said hi and then just pointed to a laptop on the desk and said, "Sign in." They were friendly, yes, but just tacky and unprofessional.

-They gave me a man for my massage without warning me, asking me, or telling me anything. This is just wrong and unprofessional. I've never had a spa not ask me my preference and at least tell me that they do have men that do massages, to therefore give me an opportunity to request otherwise.

-When I used the bathroom upstairs, the door was like one of those old changing room doors that is like a shutter, with all of those slits in it. Not sound proof at all. And the toilet sits right next to the door for everyone in the hall to hear you pee. Lovely....

-Overall, the male was very polite and respectful and did a pretty good job on the massage, but it was very hard to relax. Some people could care less to have a man doing it...and that's fine, but I'm not that way and common sense tells you that any woman getting a massage should be forewarned that they may have a male, again, so they can request otherwise or cancel, or something....so they're not put in an awkward position to just have to suck it up and go....'cause when they hand you over to your massage therapist, and it's a guy, it's then rude for you to say in front of that person, "What? I don't want a male."

Low rating because overall they were terribly unprofessional. Again, the male massage therapist was very nice, nothing bad to say about him, he did a good job, and the staff was friendly, but so are the people at the flea market. At a spa, being professional is everything! And discussing male and female massage therapist preferences should absolutely be at the top of the list. It's not something I should have to ask for on my own...that's like saying I shouldn't be asked what type of color and cut I want done to my hair. It's the business that should do their job and ask you. They didn't do that, and I was very, very uncomfortable and I'll never go back.

Best spa service We have ever received !!!. My wife and I went in for a couples massage (her first, and lost count for myself), and a cut and color for my wife. By far the staff was most attentive (even to the smallest detail) and the service was absolutely the best. They were very professional and extremely friendly. My wifes hair looks better than it ever has and the massage was extremely relaxing and refreshing. We each walked away feeling refreshed and ready for a night on the town. I can't wait to go back for our next appointment.

A True Spa Experience.. The Best in the Upstate!!!!!!. Headquarters was the most relaxing spa experience ever. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the ease of parking in their own lot. By the way very unusual for downtown businesses. When I entered the spa I was greeted immediately. They have an awesome relaxation room upstairs. The wait from the time I entered the spa and began my day of beauty was very minimal. During my wait I was asked if I needed anything. My massage was wonderful. My esthetician was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. I loved the Shellac manicure and Spa pedicure was great. I even got my hair done. The best cut and color ever. This is definitely going to be a ritual for me!!!!!
