The Very Best Greenville Has to Offer in Japanese Cuisine

The entire dining experience is spectacular, and there is always enough food left over for at least another meal. Whenever I make reservations I know I won't have to cook for my family for awhile, and yet we are still eating fabulous and healthy meals for a great price. The kids enjoy the show; the adults enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Really, what is not to love?

Good food but could do without the people

Ok I love the food but the country gangsta wannabes and other mongoloids make this place a real toilet overall.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, fun chefs. Beats Kanpai hands down, any day.

You have to call ahead for reservations but that means you never have to wait longer than 10 minutes or so. The food is fabulous, the chefs are fun and playful, the atmosphere is great. After eating here, I have went back to Kanpai and the difference was astonishing. I only eat here now, Kanpai is no longer on my eating rotation.

• Pros: Great food, fast service, reservations
• Cons: parking is tight at times and you dont always get the most fun chefs but they are all great cooks.

Excellent Sushi Bar

The habachi experience is what one would expect from a Japanese steak house -- lots of show and fire and flipping cookware for the kids to enjoy -- but the hidden gem for "grownups" is their sushi bar. As I watch the sushi chefs prepare the sushi, I always get the feeling that these guys really love what they do. The food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. When you go, don't forget to look up at the amazing ceiling!

• Pros: fun atmoshpere, excellent sushi!
• Cons: wait for habachi
