Bring it on!!!. From experience this is the Best Pizza place in the Upstate of South Carolina. If you prefer frozen pizza, so be it!
grocery store frozen pizza would have been better!.
after reading the reviews, I was expecting a great experience. We ordered 2 pizzas, one cheese and one southwest. Both came out with the centers cold. After eating a piece of the southwest, I thought something was missing from the toppings. - ah! No Cilantro! When I questioned it, the manager told me that it was sprinkled on - it was dried flakes on the top. uhmmmm..... that doesn't qualify it to be an ingredient! When I told him that it was like false advertising - a few dried flakes doesn't compare to fresh cilantro sprinkled on top - he actually laughed and said that the store wouldn't be able to keep fresh cilantro on hand...????!!!!???
And that was it.....
Cold pizza and bland - I can't believe that I actually paid pizzeria prices for this!!!
Great place to unwind!. I go to Frodo's most every Friday with a few friends to start the weekend. The pizza is great, it's very inexpensive, and the whole place just has a certain vibe to it that makes you feel at home. It's a great experience! I highly recommend.
Frodo's Pizza is comfort food. I ate at the original Frodo's Pizza across from Greenville TEC back in 1973 & 1974. I've worked all over the USA & the world for that matter and I've had some great pizzas but I am always drawn back to that knockout sauce & major toppings they place on your made to order pie. They love special requests also, or maybe they just love to make their customer's smile.
The start of a pizza addiction.. Frodo's is one of the best pizza place I have ever visited. The pizza has just the right amount of spice, salt, and there is plenty of variety. There are even a few specialty pizzas such as the PB&J. The ambience is quite good, a television to watch and vintage signs and movie posters on the wall. Service is good and the pizza is made within 7-10 minutes after ordering. It is often delivered to your table for you. The value is good for such excellent pizza. The large combination is the most expensive, weighing around 15 bucks and prizes can drop to about 9 bucks depending upon the pizza. Overall, Frodo's is a great pizza place. I recommend getting the "combination pizza" as I find it is the best tasting of those I have tried. There are also pizzas such as the everything, pb&j, mediterranean, cheeseburger, and other pizzas.
