Above and Beyond. I would just like to say that the entire staff at Skatell’s is amazing....esp Mike. He worked patiently with my Fiancé and myself to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The end result is my beautiful engagement ring! We also purchased our wedding bands from Mike as well. He worked hard to ensure we would be happy with our choices for the future, not what was "in style" or popular today. He was in constant email communication with both myself and my fiancé. He never missed a beat!!

We had narrowed our search for my engagement ring between Skatell's and a place in the mall. Although both rings were similar, the quality of diamonds he could produce far exceeded that which the retail chain could provide. The decision was simple to go with Mike and Skatell's. The customer service, the quality, and the overall experience were excellent.

I recently told Mike that we are thrilled beyond words with his help and our selections! My fiancé' and I joke that we should invite him to the wedding because he has become so involved with our engagement. I go at least once a month for him to check my diamond and to get it cleaned. And every time I walk in, he greets me my name and never acts like he gets tired of seeing me!! I doubt the retail chain would remember my name or be so willing to check and clean my ring monthly.

I can say, even after the wedding, Skatell's will be our 1st choice for jewelers for many years to come!

She said "YES". I would just like to say "Thank You" to Skatell's Jewelers for making my Engagement perfect. The sales lady (Marla) helped me create the most beautiful engagement ring! My Fiance' had already gone into the store and worked with Marla. Marla took notes and wrote everything down so therefore when I went in to make my purchase all she had to do is get her notes and my job was easy! The ring was just what Amanda had wanted and of course she said "Yes"!

The store is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and kind. I plan on buying our wedding bands as well as the wedding party gifts there. They have a customer for life! Thanks Skatell's for making our moment "Special"

Extremely Disappointed. Dont be fooled by these reviews written by Skatell's employees. This place is full of rude people who only want to rip you off. I asked the manager, Tom Dakus, to tell me why two diamonds with different prices at different locations were priced differently with the same GIA grading. I showed him the identical grading sheet (with Skatell's price being $1000 higher). His response was, "I want you to prove to me that those diamonds are the same." Yes, the manager of a jewelry store, when asked a question about why the diamonds were priced a certain way, could not give me an answer and was hoping that I, the customer, just didnt know enough to catch him in a lie about their pricing and what certain diamonds were worth. I have 2 friends who grade diamonds for GIA confirm that he was overcharging by a lot hoping to make more profit off me. After going to 10 local jewelry stores in Greenville these people were by far he most rude and uneducated about jewelry. He alone would be reason to stay away from this place. Do your research and avoid Skatell's.

The BEST Place to BUY JEWELRY!!!. Love this place. Marla helped us design my engagement ring using our diamonds. She helped us through the entire process. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She let us view the wax when it was finished and we were able to change it if we wanted to. When the ring was finished, it was so gorgeous and so perfect. I get so many compliments on my ring, it is perfect!! It was a great experience and I will never forget all they did for us. Actually everyone there is so professional and they were so helpful to us. This will be our jewelry store for many many many years. This is the BEST Place to go when you need jewelry, by far!!

Horrible customer service, stay away. We had a horrible experience with Skatell's. We thought we were getting a great deal as they agreed to price match a diamond for an engagement ring. Once we received the papers we realized we were getting taken advantage of. I brought in the papers to compare and the manager refused to refund me the difference for what I paid for. He told me he would give me my money back and I said ok. Once he realized that I did want my money back he went back on his word confirming that he lied to me. He lied repeatedly giving me his word on 4 separate occasions about a refund and going back on it repeatedly. The entire staff was very rude and unethical once I pointed out their business practices. We also paid for a wedding band which they could not get in the size we wanted and refused to refund that as well. They could not get what we paid for and still tried to find a way to not refund us our money. They left us in the lobby for over an hour as we waited for a simple refund. Its shocking that this place is still in business. Way overpriced, horrible customer service, and extremely unethical. Stay away at all costs.

Poor customer service. I went to Skatell's hoping they could help me design one ring using the materials from three rings that I had (family heirlooms). While their showroom was beautiful, I was quickly dismissed with a "you need to figure out what you want - get online and bring us in an exact picture of what you want." As I am not a jeweler, I had thought perhaps the jeweler might be able to give me ideas on what would work best with the stones and materials I had; not just expect me to figure that out on my own. It was obvious the man did not want to waste his time with me, and I will never do business at Skatell's again. They should spend less money on huge billboards and more money on hiring staff who care and are willing to work with customers, not dismiss them. I ended up going to Diamonds Choice on Haywood Rd.; a much smaller store, but the staff there were more than willing to take time and sit with me and go through options with me based on what I had to work with. They were extremely helpful, made me feel as though they cared about assisting me, and exhibited superior customer service. Skatell's could surely learn a thing or two from Diamonds Choice.

My husband & I had great service from here.. My engagement ring came from here and I just can't say enough about the staff. They did everything to make our experience memorable. Also they have a great selection of jewelry. We will definitely be back.
