not very impressed

hair was too short and the color was too dark . she told me she would redo the color, but i am afraid it will damage it. i will just have to live with it. The girl that did my nails was very rough and actually cut me twice with the drill. i won't go back.

I have been going to this spa for 10 years and love every minute I am there ,every time I go. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly, and very pleasent. My nail tech is Ashley Gurley she is amazing and I would never go anywhere else. I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go. The salon owners Melanie and Scott are great they are very professional and also the most wonderful "friends" you ever met. Raquel does hair does a wonderful job. Scott also is great with hair and Melanie with nails, She came in to work at six in the morning for years to do my nails because our hours did not work otherwise.I feel like that is catering to your customers, I will ever be grateful to her for that. I would recommend this facility to any one looking for pampering such as nails, hair, massage, any personal treatment, they got it!!!! They are the Bomb!!!!!

Mixed Feelings

I just moved from NYC and thought this is the place for me. It is beautifully decorated with modern decor and the girls from the local beauty school reccommended it so I took a chance. After I explained what type of hairstylist I was looking for, they suggested Addison to do my cut. So I showed up for my appointment only to be told that, "Addison had to leave for the day and that Brooks would cut my hair". I was starting a new job in a few days and with very little choice at this point, I ventured to Brook's chair. While he was cutting my hair, he admitted that Addison had handed me off to him because her last client was happy with her results. That annoyed me a bit, but then it went downhill from there. I asked Brooks to thin out the sides of my hair, which turned into a chop job on one side. At this point, I stopped the cutting and left the chair. As I was going to pay, I overhear the receptionist say that Addison is getting her make up done. So, wait, Addison didn't leave? And, I got an eneven haircut with no way to fix except 4 months of hair growing back? Of course I mention to the receptionist about Addison coming back and she starts to sweat and gives me the excuse about having to take her "disabled sister" to a party. Well, that isn't my business, but maybe Addison when you cancel a client, next time, actually leave the salon and don't come back!
In the end, I came back and had the owner attempt to soften the chop job I had with Brooks. My feelings are mixed about the salon because the owner is an amazing hairstylist and very professional. If you go there, just go to him!

- Cons: nothing else around like it
