COMPLETE RIP-OFF, EXTREMELY OVER-PRICED AND DISHONEST. My single handle shower valve was leaking, and it took Bill 45 minutes to fix it, and he charged me $408!!! When he gave me the quote, I asked him how much was for the parts and how much was for labor. He LIED, and said that the parts were half of the estimate. He told me where he bought the parts so I called the place, and asked them how much he paid for the parts and the parts only cost $77.91. He told me that it would be an hour drive time to pick up the parts. I live downtown, and the plumbing store is on the corner of Rutherford and Wade Hampton. The quote he gave me was for $360 and he added on the $49 when I was writing the check. I've never dealt with a company that actually charges the dispatch fee on top of the estimate. They are sneaky and dishonest. I called to get a detailed statement of the $408, and the manager said that he was at my house for 3 hours even though he showed up a little after 11:00 and left a little after 1:00. He was only there for 2 hours and an hour of it was going to pick up the 2 parts for my shower. The manager said he must have been doing paperwork in his car for the other hour. He went on and on about the cost of gas, how much he pays his plumbers hourly, and ALL of the overhead they have. DEFINITELY DO NOT waste your time with these dishonest, rude, and shady people. There are too many honest people out there to deal with dishonest, shady people like them.

Service, Service, Service!!!. We called Kens plumbing on a Saturday last year when water was pooling up in the ceiling of our kitchen. Not expecting a response, we called Kens Plumbing. Jon was at our house within the hour telling us that our water heater was shot and confirmed my opinion that it needed to be moved to the garage. Jon completed the job on Monday and set us up with a drywall contractor. The whole move was done quickly and efficiently.

We are very happy to call Ken's Plumbing our contractor of choice.

Very Impressed. I called Kens Plumbing and from the begining when the lady who answered the phone "how can I make you smile" I was impressed. She took my information, explained to me how the tech would come out and price the job and there would be no hidden cost. What she said was what happened to a T. The tech came out, was very presentable, put on shoe covers and came in. He looked at the problem I was having with my toilet, and even asked if he could give me a free inspection of the rest of my home. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! When he found the problems, he gave me a price, with the option to repair or replace. He offered warrenties and even offered me a service agreement which is a big plus. Thanks Ken keep up the good work!!!

Ken's Plumbing. I initially heard about Ken's Plumbing from a friend who had a great experience with this company. They are professional, very knowledgeable, and most of all, honest and fair. Ken was very pleasant over the phone and even though he was very busy, he still took the time to let me explain the issue I was having. His service was prompt, efficient, and affordable. He did what he said he would do. Great service!! I would recommend Ken's Plumbing to anyone.

Picky Customer Would Call Ken Again!. Our water heater was leaking/ruined, it damaged our AC unit and ruined part of the floor on our first floor. Within 2 hours, Ken's Plumbing had a tech at the house and then helped us find a carpenter to repair the floor. Within two days, everything was ripped out, replaced and working again.

Great service, fast, responsive, thorough follow-up and a nice thank you note in the mail the next week!

We're not the easiest homeowners to deal with, and Ken's Plumbing made this painless. Thank you!

I woke up to a cold shower over the Memorial Day Weekend, and discovered my hot water heater was the villian. So, placed a call to AHS Home Warranty, 1st claim in 5 years of paying preimiums. They emailed information: AGS Installation would call during regular business hrs to set up an appointment to Diagnose and Repair Problem. Did not receive a call. On Tuesday I called AGS several times to schedule appt. I live in Greenville and commute to Spartanburg for work. They scheduled an Appt of Tuesday w/window from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm w/30min call in advance before arriving. No call by 4:30 pm. I called AGS again and was given 5:45 pm, they did not arrive until 6:30 pm. They diagnosed the problem, 15 yr hot water heater needed replacement, install PRV Valve w/small expansion tank. Left at 7:00 pm to call back with estimate, and what home warranty would not cover.

What a Nightmare! I called several plumbers seeking help. One call to Ken Flourney owner of Ken's Plumbing on Wednesday pm and help was on the way. A highly skilled, knowledgeable technician arrived ahead of me and had already diagnosed the problem a new water heater and parts ready to begin project with my approval.

Ken's Plumbing went to work, efficiently installed new Water Heater, Pressure relief valve, expansion tank, replaced leaky outdoor faucet and fixed leak at clothes washer. All of this with a six year warranty. Plus he will help with a call to AHS Home Warranty for recouping my costs.

Nightmare over, thanks to Ken's Plumbing. Highly Recommend. 5 Stars!!!!!

A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Ken advertises his company as the picky person's plumber. He is exactly right. Their fees are slightly higher but they give superlative service, are very reliable, and they're committed to doing great work. I would rather pay a bit more but feel fully confident that I'm hiring a plumber who stands behind his work. My experience with Ken has been first rate. I'll keep hiring him because I know the job will be done right.

Keep your hand on your wallet. Hired these guys to replace a simple residential hose bib. They spent about two hours and wanted $743.00! They did good work but way too high. I later got other estimates and they came in around $200. Avoid.
