In Short – A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.

Editor's Tips

What to Drink:
Each table is supplied with a huge jug of Macaroni Grill's "house" wine. You tell your server how much your table had to drink, and he or she charges accordingly.
The Extras:
The little ones will feel right at home here: A kids menu offers corn dogs, grilled cheese and chicken fingers, and there are crayons on the tables for doodling on the paper tablecloths.

This has to be my favorite restaurant in Greenville county. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, and so are the prices. Where the cooks prepare the food, the area is open so you can see them prepare. This is a wonderful restaurant to take small kids. They have paper tablecloths so the kids can write on them with the crayons that are given and it isn't so stuffy that they have to be so quiet. You can not go wrong with this restaurant. Expensive taste at very reasonable prices. Prepare to wait on Friday and Saturdays, but well worth it.

  • Pros: great price, great food, lovely restaurant
  • Cons: crowded, pros outweigh cons

You would never know that this is a chain restaurant, because the food tastes fresh and homemade. The portions are generous, and are brought out promptly, and the prices are good. The only drawback is that since the place is so popular, it is often crowded and noisy.
