Great care and great service
by Dean Brubaker
After reading the previous reviews with shock and disbelief, I had to post my family's experience with Oaktree Medical. The staff has always been very accommodating and I cannot say how much we appreciate every thing Dr. Nancy Netter and Sital Patel have done for me and for my wife. I had a minor medical issue 4 or 5 months ago, and Dr. Netter followed up with me personally, via phone, to see how I was doing. I wonder if the previous folks who posted negative comments were actually at the correct Oaktree Medical Center on Pelham Road. Everyone there has been wonderful and I welcome any counter arguments be sent to me directly to my personal email address at DeanBrubaker@aol

Sick? go elswhere

Only got a star because you had to do it, really no stars from me.
Have to agree with the rest of the reviewers. The Staff is the worst and has been for over 10 yrs. I think they train new employees to be rude & be more concerned about the free food that is coming in via pharmacy reps then the patients. Seems like they are in business for the food parties & not the people.
Doc might be OK if you aren't sick & only want Botox. Even the docs don't seem to want to be there.
Go elswhere or get out fast.
I know more people that have left this practice then that are in it.

Horrible

This place gets no stars from me.
I stuck with them for 3 years simply because I didn't have time to find/switch to a new doctor and my health was such that I didn't have to visit too often.
The office staff is lazy and rude--every time I needed something that involved going through them, they screwed it up. I was called by a bill collector because they failed to file an address change I had submitted and as a result, sent the bill to the wrong place. I also had to get several releases signed so I could proceed with my nursing degree and it was a nightmare getting them filled out properly and sent to the right places (if they were supposed to be faxed, the staff mailed them and if I said I'd pick them up, they faxed them). They spend their time talking with each other and treat patients like they're an imposition.
The Dr. rarely spent any time actually discussing anything with me--she completely forgot I was there once and after I had waited 45 minutes in the exam room, she came rushing in and said "oh my God, I forgot you were here and went to a lunch party!" and then laughed and forgot to go over my lab results (which were shoved in my hand by a nurse on my way out).
This practice exists so the physicians can make a lot of $$ off their patients while doing the minimum amount of actual work--and complaining will do no good because every member (except possibly their PA, Sital Patel) is part of the problem.
Don't waste your time here.
